A WOMAN who was arrested as part of a murder investigation following the death of a man on Boxing Day has been released.
The man, believed to be aged in his thirties, was found at an address on Eston High Street on Wednesday December 26.
Officers attended the address at around 8.30pm and the man was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A 37-year old-woman arrested in connection with the incident has now been released with no further police action.
Three other men aged 29, 30 and 32 also remain in custody on suspicion of murder and a 38-year-old man has been released without charge.
The victim has not yet been formally identified.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “While we understand residents may feel concerned by this incident, we do not believe there is any risk to the wider public at this time.
“Officers will remain in the area providing a reassuring presence and continuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
Cleveland Police would ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area on the afternoon or evening of Boxing Day to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
