A 77-YEAR-OLD woman is in hospital after she was hit by a car at a retail park.
The woman, who sustained a fractured femur, was hit by a VW Golf outside Marks and Spencer at Teesside Retail Park, just before 9.40am on Monday.
She remains in a stable condition in James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
The driver of the Golf, a man in his 80s, is assisting police with inquiries.
- Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the collision is asked to contact PC Spencer Kindon of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit via the 101 number, quoting Event 229052.
