A CITY centre road was closed after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Police say no-one was injured in the incident, which happened in South Road, Durham, at about 3.30pm.
A police spokesperson said: "Police were called just before 3.30pm this afternoon (December 12 ) following a one-vehicle collision, involving a pedestrian on South Road in Durham City Centre.
"No injuries have been sustained.
"The road is currently closed."
