A STOLEN Ford Fiesta was recovered from the back of a lorry on the A66, near Barnard Castle, on Tuesday night.
Officers from the Cleveland and Durham Road Policing Unit made the find.
All of the other remaining vehicles on the lorry were also checked but non were found to be stolen.
Sharing the post on their facebook, an officer from the unit said: "It will be returned to its rightful owner in due course."
