THE volunteers at Darlington Talking Newspaper have marked the 100 years since the end of the First World War by producing a special commemorative edition.
They searched through old newspapers in Crown Street library to find the stories that were making the news in Darlington in 1918 and recorded them in their studio in the Northern Echo building.
This special edition has been sent to all Talking Newspaper listeners who receive the newspaper on CD or memory stick and is available for anyone to listen to at darlingtontalkingnewspaper.co.uk
