IMAGES have been released by police investigating a robbery in South Tyneside.
Northumbria Police was called to the Carphone Warehouse, on King Street, in South Shields, following a report of a robbery.
A force spokesperson said two men entered the store and threatened staff with a knife before making away with two Samsung mobile phones.
Nobody was injured.
They have now released images of two people they would like to speak to in relation to the incident which took place at 9.13am on Wednesday, August 1.
The spokesperson added they were in the area at the time and could assist officers.
