A SUSPECTED drink driver allegedly still intoxicated from the night before crashed into a field near Redcar, with police saying it was a 'miracle' no-one was hurt.
After crashing into the field at Dunsdale, between Guisborough and Redcar, east Cleveland, the suspected drink driver tested positive in a roadside breath test to being almost two and a half times over the drink-drive limit, according to police.
Cleveland Police said: "It is a miracle that the driver walked away and that no innocent motorists were severely killed or injured.
"A blood test has been taken and if positive the driver is likely to be arrested and charged."
