A BROS fan is appealing to other 80s pop lovers to help him secure a film screening in the North-East.

Bros: After the Screaming Stops will arrive in selected cinemas around the country on Friday, November 9.

It charts the recent reunion of twin musicians Matt and Luke Goss, who had not played together since the band’s split in 1992.

However, when Darlington man Michael Luke checked for local showings, he could find none in the region.

He then set out to ensure fellow Bros fans in the North-East could see the film, described as “a raw and emotional look into the aftermath of fame and the reconnection between twins torn apart by their past.”

Mr Luke has now arranged a screening at Catterick’s Empire Cinema on Friday, November 23 but it can only go ahead if he can sell 70 tickets.

Urging others to book in advance to ensure the film is shown, he said: “Bros were massive back in the 80s and I’m 39 now so I was at the right age to enjoy them.

"You don't have to be a fan to watch it - it will be a good bit of nostalgia.I really want to see the film and if I can sell 70 tickets, then I will be able to have a good night out.”

Tickets can now be reserved for the screening, with no money being taken if the film is not shown. To book, visit ourscreen.com/screening/47418.
