LANDMARKS will light up when a town shows racism the red card on Friday.
Stockton's town hall, fountains and riverside will turn red in support of the campaign, which aims to tackle racism across the country.
Councillors and council staff will back the 'Wear Red Day' by donning colourful outfits, collecting donations and holding bake sales in support of Show Racism the Red Card.
Council leader Bob Cook said: “For yet another year the council is proud to back this worthwhile campaign, which raises awareness and educates people on all forms of racism.
“All donations will be kindly received and will help the charity in its aim of stamping out racism altogether.”
