A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged in connection with a stabbing in Darlington.
Declan Drummond, 18, appeared before magistrates in Newton Aycliffe charged with wounding with intent, and possession of a bladed article, following an incident in Firthmoor Crescent in the early hours of Monday, October 1.
Shortly after midnight, a man in his mid-20s suffered what is understood to be multiple, although fairly superficial, stab wounds, and was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Mr Drummond, of Roker Close in Darlington, was released on bail ahead of his next scheduled appearance before Teesside Crown Court on November 1.
