A TROUBLESOME teen has been banned from a town centre after repeated issues of crime and anti-social behaviour.
The Northallerton Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Safer Hambleton Partnership Hub successfully applied for the youth-related Criminal Behaviour Order.
It is against a 16 year-old boy who is now under a six-month overnight curfew, is excluded from Northallerton town centre and barred from associating with six other youths.
He is also banned from being outside any commercial premises when asked to leave by staff.
A police spokesperson said it is hoped the order, which lasts for two years, will give additional powers to the police to deal with the teenager as well as reassure the community.
