HAMBLETON District Council’s four leisure centres are holding their annual ‘Big Weekend’ next month with special offers and events.
The weekend of October 7 will include pirate themed-fun sessions in the pools, free gym trials and exercises classes.
Guided tours will also take place throughout the centres in Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley and Thirsk and Sowerby.
Plus, anyone taking out a Zest membership on October 6, 7 and 8 will get two months free membership.
Leanne Dunning, marketing manager,said: “The Big Weekend’ is part of an initiative to increase the number of people taking regular exercise - and to raise awareness of what the leisure centres have to offer."
