MOTORISTS faced delays on the A19 on Wednesday morning due to a broken down vehicle.
Traffic built up on the A19 southbound between the A689 and the A19 flyover.
The vehicle has now been cleared, but there are still delays in the area.

A spokesperson for Highways England North East said: "Recovery of the broken down car is complete on the A19 southbound between the A1046 Billingham and A66 Middlesbrough and Stockton.
"All lanes are now open however there are long delays in the area.
"Many thanks to Cleveland Police for dealing with this."
The Transporter Bridge is also currently closed due to high winds.
