AN appeal has been launched by police to find a man who they think could be able to help them with their enquiries into an assault on a woman.
Cleveland Police are appealing to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries relating to an investigation into an assault in Stockton.
The assault, which involved a 21-year-old woman being punched, happened inside the Clock Tower Pub on Stockton High Street.
The incident is alleged to have taken place around 9.35pm on Sunday, May 27.
It left the woman unconscious and with a broken cheekbone.
She also received hospital treatment.
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone in the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact Detective Constable Nicole Helgee from Stockton Operational Crime Team on the non-emergency number 101 quoting event number 095128.
