A ROAD has reopened after a tree fell on a car.
It happened at about 1.30pm, when a tree fell on a car on Deerness Bridge, between Ushaw Moor and New Brancepeth, near Durham.
A woman and her child, who were in the car at the time, were not injured.
The road has been cleared and is now re-open.
