BOSSES at a children's theatre have promised a bumper line-up of entertainment over the coming months.
The Hullabaloo, a dedicated theatre for children and their families, opened its doors in December last year and has since welcomed over 15 000 children and grown-ups to watch specially made theatre or enjoy the free creative play installations on offer at the venue.
Storm, a production designed for children aged between seven and 11 who are on the autistic spectrum, and No Show, a production that deconstructs superhuman circus performers and shows them as vulnerable human beings, will take to the stage in October.
The Young King, an intimate and magical show using the language of Oscar Wilde, will be performed in November and is suitable for children aged eight and over.
The theatre will mark the festive season with Luna, which bosses are describing as a magical first time theatre experience for two to five-year-olds and their families about friendship, the moon and being brave in the dark.
The show will run from December 8 to 29.
Miranda Thain, artistic producer at Theatre Hullabaloo, said: “We have been overjoyed with the response from parents, teachers and, most importantly, children to our opening season at The Hullabaloo and are delighted to announce the jam-packed programme which takes us to Christmas.
“Alongside the shows, we have a brilliant programme of fun for families including A Hullabaloo in Space, storytelling sessions, including some spooky ones at Halloween."
