TWO men are in custody following an eight-mile police pursuit from the A1(M) to Bishop Auckland.
Officers followed the suspected stolen Ford Transit Connect van along the A688 from junction 61 to Canney Hill.
Bishop Auckland Police are now appealing for information about the incident which happened on Tuesday morning.
They have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident, were affected by the manner of driving and those who have dash cam footage to come forward.
- Anyone with information should call non-emergency 101 and quote incident 93 of September 4 or ask to speak with PC 2960 Simpson.
