BURGLARY: Weardale Motor Services in Stanhope Picture: GOOGLE
CHARITY collection boxes were among items stolen from a petrol station in Weardale.
The boxes containing a large amount of money and prizes due to be handed out at the forthcoming Stanhope Show were snatched from Weardale Motor Services, on the A689.
Durham Police said the burglary took place overnight between Tuesday and today (Wednesday).
Anyone with information is asked to call Durham Police on non-emergency 101 and ask to speak to PC 1833 Moore.
