OWNERS of classics cars will be taking part in a rally around the Yorkshire Dales this weekend to raise money for charity.
On Sunday, September 2, the Yorkshire Dales Classic Car Club and MG Owners Club, based in Northallerton, will be embarking on the Dales Trail to raise money for the Pendragon Multi-Sensory Centre in Northallerton.
The sensory centre, based on the Omega Industrial Village, provides facilities and support to those with physical or emotional difficulties or mental health issues.
More than 30 cars will meet at Romanby Golf and Country Club, just outside Northallerton on Yafforth Road. At 10.30am the drivers will set off on a 100-mile route around the Yorkshire Dales.
The cars are due to arrive back at the golf club at about 3pm and presentations will take place at 3.30pm. Organisers say the public are welcome to view the cars as they return.
