AGNETHA, Bjorn, Benny, and Anni might be best known for making up one of the biggest pop music sensations in history, ABBA, but Dogs Trust Darlington recently came into the care of four ‘pup’ sensations by the same names.

The four Lurcher puppies were born at Dogs Trust Darlington and have been receiving round the clock care at the charity’s Sadberge-based Rehoming Centre.

Now they are healthy and old enough to go on to find their forever homes.

Sue Embleton, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Darlington, said: “We have loved taking care of our four Super Troopers over the last eight weeks and are thrilled they are now ready to start their lives as a part of loving new families.

"We would advise anyone interested in rehoming one of the puppies to be aware that we anticipate huge demand and therefore they will very likely find new homes quickly.

“We are always on the lookout for potential dog owners who are committed to investing the time, patience and love a puppy needs in order to develop into a happy and respectful dog, however there are plenty of dogs of all ages at the rehoming centre eagerly waiting on someone to take a chance on them.”
