AN outfit inspired by Yorkshire and created by leading local designers took centre stage during the Ebor races.
ITV racing presenter, Francesca Cumani, dazzled race-goers in her ladies day outfit at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival in York.
Her straw beret, created by Yorkshire milliner Justine Bradley-Hill, featured four white leather roses, leaves and cut feathers. Based on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Justine Bradley-Hill has created hats for members of the royal family, including Princess Beatrice, Zara Philips and many other celebrities.
She said: βItβs fantastic to have the opportunity to showcase Yorkshire Millinery at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival. My design is centred around the famous white Yorkshire rose.β
The 1950s-style silk crepe dress was exclusively designed by haute couture designer Anita Massarella, in her Yorkshire based design rooms. Francesca Cumani said: "I am thrilled to be part of the design collaboration between two superb Yorkshire based designers in milliner Justine Bradley-Hill and dress designer Anita Massarella. It is such a fantastic idea and a great initiative from Welcome to Yorkshire to showcase two of the region's talented locals."
