ARSON: Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a play area at Esh, County Durhm
A PLAY area has been badly damaged in a suspected arson attack.
The blaze occurred in Esh Park, Laude Bank, Esh, in County Durham, at about 3.40pm yesterday leaving the play equipment significantly damaged.
Durham police have today confirmed that the incident is being treated as a suspected arson and an investigation has been launched.
Officers are checking CCTV from the area as part of their enquiries.
Witnesses are asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 289 of August 22, 2018.
