CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a young woman missing from the York area.

Police officers are urgently attempting to trace Paulina Idzinska, who was last seen in the Huntington area at around 3pm today.

The 20-year-old is white, around 5ft3, slim, with ginger hair and brown eyes.

She is believed to be wearing a burgundy hoody with white tassels and light blue ripped jeans.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Paulina’s welfare and are appealing to the public for information as to her whereabouts.

“If you think you might have seen Paulina or have any information, please contact the force.”

Anyone with information should call North Yorkshire Police on non-emergency number 101 and press 1 to pass information to the control room.
