A TEENAGE girl and a man have been charged after a man was found stabbed.

The 17-year-old girl from Harrogate and a 24-year-old man of no fixed address have been charged with wounding with intent after the man was discovered in Cambridge Road, Harrogate with stab wounds on Monday morning. He has since been released from hospital.

The two appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 21 and were remanded in custody to appear at York Crown Court on September 24.

Officers believe there were a number of people who passed the area of St Peter’s Church on Cambridge Road between 7.30am and 8.30am on the morning of Monday, August 20 and officers are appealing to them to come forward.
