AS Middlesbrough prepares to host its debut Last Night at the Proms concert, a group of children have been looking at the everyday sounds and images around them.
Pupils from Middlesbrough's Abingdon Primary School and the William Cassidi Primary School, at Stillington, have been visiting various locations in and around Teesside to collect sounds and images for an animated film.
Working with local professional animator Robin Webb and musician and designer Robert Page, the ten and 11-year olds have spent time at Middlesbrough Football Club putting together sounds and images for a short animated film.
It will be premiered at a fun music day at Middlesbrough Town Hall on August 31 and will also be shown on the BBC Tees Online website.
