TORRENTIAL downpours are affecting the County Durham and Teesside area.
Many roads such as the A19 and A66 are flooded with traffic down to a crawl in places.
Traffic is queuing on the A66 near Teesside Park and progress is slow on both the north and southbound A19 near the Tees flyover.
