A YOUNG man has been fined for supplying alcohol to underage children in Tow Law on Saturday night.
PCSOs from Crook Police seized a large amount of alcohol from several youths at Millennium Green in Tow Law.
A young man also received a fixed penalty notice with a £90 fine for supplying alcohol to the children.
A spokesman for Crook Police said: "We will not tolerate underage drinking in the area and will take robust action against anyone involved in the supply of alcohol.
"Officers will continue to maintain regular patrols in the area, but ask that parents also be mindful and challenge their children on what they are doing when out during the evenings."
