TWO men accused of murdering a man who suffered fatal head injuries during an attack are due to go on trial from today.
A jury has been sworn in at Newcastle Crown Court in the cases against Christopher Hills and Paul Ronald Watson.
They are accused of killing 36-year-old Michael Price who died 11 days after he was badly beaten during an incident in Victor Street, Chester-le-Street, on January 13.
Hill, 31, of Gregory Terrace, Houghton-le Spring, and Watson, also 30, of The Crescent, Chester-le-Street, both deny murder.
