Biker training
A FREE course educating bikers on how to react if they are first at an accident scene is running at Northallerton fire station on July 22 and Richmond fire station on September 2. Electrics fire
AN electrical fire at a property in Hutton Rudby was dealt with by firefighters from Stokesley. The crew was called just before 11pm on Monday. They isolated the electrics and used a thermal imaging camera to ensure the building was safe.
Dialect date

Medium night
AN evening of mediumship with Michelle Mosley takes place at Thirsk and Sowerby Town Hall on July 20 at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm. Admission is £7 on the door.
Fireworks fun
NEWBY Hall near Ripon is hosting a Fireworks Championships this Saturday. Three firework companies will compete with a display to music. The event runs from 5pm to 10.30pm. Tickets are £19 for adults £9 for children from 01327-876037.
Bikes stolen
TWO customised BMX bikes together worth around £3,000 were stolen from a garden in Richmond. The bikes were taken from Coronation Place between 8pm and 9.30pm on July 12.
