A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD asthma sufferer is hoping to have all the right ingredients for a successful charity cake sale.
Charlie Hepple, from Wheatley Hill, has suffered from asthma since he was four and has been inspired to support Asthma UK, a charity that works to stop asthma attacks and, ultimately, cure asthma by funding research and scientists.
Charlie, a pupil at Wheatley Hill Primary School, is organising a Big Asthma Bake Sale in Wheatley Hill Workingmen’s Club tomorrow, from 10am until noon, and has enlisted the help of his mum, Naomi, his aunt Zoe Fulcher, other family members and friends to bake the cakes.
Mum Naomi said: “It started off with a few cakes, but now it has got much bigger and the family has rallied round to bake more because the sale is getting more support.
“We’ve also had support from businesses donating items for a raffle and we have already raised about £300.”
