PHOTOGRAPHS taken by residents of a spa town will be used in a calendar.
Residents of Harrogate took up a challenge to take shots for the calendar and Lesley Peplow, of Harewood Road, took the winning photograph of a flower border.
Her picture will be used on the front cover and 12 other winners will see their shots inside.
The calendar is designed to keep council tenants informed for housing services.
Jean Butterfield, cabinet member for housing, said the judging panel found it difficult to pick an overall winner.
She said: "This photographic competition is proving to be very popular.
"There were many that came close to winning."
