A BUSINESSWOMAN from the region has been honoured by her industry colleagues.
Victoria McLaren, 29, from Sedgefield, picked up two awards at the South Humberside Export Association's annual prize-giving ceremony.
She was named as the Wilkin Chapman Business Person of the Year, while Scunthorpe-based GB Solo, for which she is managing director, won an exporter of the year award.
Mrs McLaren, who lives in Sedgefield but is originally from Great Smeaton, near Northallerton, said: "It's wonderful you are being recognised by your fellow workers.
"They obviously think that you are doing a good job."
