A PERVERT caught grooming schoolgirls online for the second time has walked free – again.
Jake Warters was given a three-year community order with unpaid work in 2015 for having explicit conversations on Facebook with two 15-year-olds.
Early last year – while the order was still running and he was on the sex offenders' register – Warters contacted another girl of the same age.
Teesside Crown Court heard how the youngster was "flattered by his attention" before he asked for naked photographs, told her he loved her and messaged: "Get in my bed."
Warters, 25, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire, was arrested after the girl's mother saw the communication and contacted police.
Before he was detected, Warters even had online video chats on Skype, with the girl using a school computer.
In a statement afterwards, the girl said: "I made myself out to be a person I was not. I don't go out now because I'm not trusted, even though my mates go out."
Warters admitted causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and was given a nine-month suspended prison sentence.
The judge, Recorder Tim Roberts, QC, told him: "This is the second time you have appeared before this court for the same misbehaviour.
"It is plain to me you have an urge when you are on your own to use the internet to contact underage girls and talk dirty to them.
"That's a criminal offence, and a serious criminal offence, and it will lead you into prison. You must desist from this behaviour. This is your last chance."
Warters has recently been diagnosed with autism, and his barrister Simon Perkins said he would be vulnerable in a "severely ill-adapted" prison system.
Mr Perkins described the offending as "fairly clumsy but illegal activity", and said he had never made plans to meet the girl.
Warters, of Malpas Road, Northallerton, will be on the sex offenders' register for the next ten years, and take part in 36 days of activities with the Probation Service to tackle his problems.
