TWO people required hospital treatment after a crash which closed a busy road in Middlesbrough.
A white van and a white Citroen collided just outside the entrance to Roseberry Park Hospital, on Marton Road’s southbound carriageway, shortly before 1.30pm on Sunday.
Police blocked the road at the Belle Vue roundabout while paramedics tended to the casualties and the scene was made safe.
Two people were injured and taken to the nearby James Cook University Hospital.
The crash occurred at the same location as a collision which involved several vehicles less than a fortnight ago.
