A 42-YEAR-OLD man has been threatened with a knife and robbed.
The incident happened on Thursday, January 4 at around 6.50pm on Peel Street, towards the Westbury area of Thornaby.
The victim was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife and demanded he hand over money.
He then went through the victim's pockets and took a wallet which contained various cards and £55. He then made off towards the Cobden Street area in the direction of the new build houses.
Cleveland Police said: "The man responsible is described as being a white male, around 6ft tall with blonde hair and he appeared gaunt and very thin. He was wearing a dark blue coat and dark tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the side.
