A MAN has appeared in court after he allegedly asked someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl to take part in a threesome.
Mark Anthony Thornton, of Chandos Street, Darlington, is charged with breaching the terms of a sexual harm order imposed by Teesside Crown Court in September 2016. The alleged breach is said to have occurred on November 7 when the 51-year-old is said to have used a social media site he was prohibited from using.
He is also accused of inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity, with the charge alleging he asked her to take part in a threesome.
No pleas were entered at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court yesterday and Mr Thornton was remanded in custody until a hearing at Teesside Crown Court on December 11.
