A ROAD will be closed for two days next week for resurfacing.
Drivers in Peterlee can expect delays on Thursday and Friday while work takes place on Edenhill Road.
From 7am to 7pm each day, the road will be closed between the junctions with Surtees Road and Kirkstone Avenue and diversions will be in place.
From the south, the diversion will take motorists along Surtees Road, Yoden Way, Chapel Hill Road and Ellison Road, while in the other direction, drivers will be taken along Surtees Road, Essington Way, Yoden Road and Brandlings Way.
Brian Buckley, from Durham County Council, said: “We appreciate there will be some disruption to motorists and I’d like to thank them in advance for their patience.”
