MORE than 100,000 people have so far watched dramatic footage of soldiers storming a North-East shopping centre.
Armed troops took over Stockton’s Castlegate Shopping Centre in a late night operation recently.
As part of a training exercise, soldiers from The Royal Lancers were encouraged to improve their “urban reconnaissance skills” by setting up an observation post at the centre.
Footage of the troops moving through the abandoned mall as they carried out their training was uploaded by The British Army to their Facebook page.
The fascinating glimpse into Army life has so far attracted the interest of more than 100,000 people, with many praising the soldiers for their work.
