HUNDREDS of bright young minds are being inspired at an event to celebrate everything ingenious about Darlington.
Families are flocking to the two-day Festival of Ingenuity that features a range of interactive activities and exhibits to engage the next generation of engineers and inventors.
Street dancers, robots, a land-based train and a vintage bus will be among the attractions at the event, which runs until Sunday.
The festival is currently under way until 4pm on Saturday with an exhibition marquee taking centre stage in Darlington’s Market Square.
Attractions are also on offer at the town’s Riverside Park and the raised podium at the Feethams leisure complex with land-train, Darly, ferrying festival-goers between locations.
