TROUBLE-makers from the North-East and South Yorkshire were dealt with by police in York city centre over the weekend.
Police received reports from various businesses that a large group was causing trouble on Saturday afternoon, throwing food around and causing a nuisance inside and outside shops.
Officers broke up the group and three people were stopped leaving York train station for causing anti-social behaviour on the train and were “dispersed from the city centre for 48 hours.”
Police have been out and about on the streets of York as part of Operation Erase to stop antisocial behaviour.
