A PATIENT in an ambulance was left with a broken leg after its driver was forced to slam on the brakes on a busy road.
Cleveland Police are investigating after the person was left injured when the ambulance driver was forced to brake sharply on the A19 northbound flyover.
Officers are attempting to trace the driver of a black Audi who they believe may have information in relation to the incident, which happened at around 9.40am on Thursday, August 17.
- Anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact PC Andy Overton of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on non-emergency number 101 quoting reference CVP-17-150086.
