A PREVIEW performance of a student a capella group’s Edinburgh-bound show is to be given, on ‘home soil’.
The taster of Northern Lights’ 2017 fringe show, to be performed at next month’s festival in the Scottish capital, can be seen days earlier, at the Assembly Rooms, in Durham.
Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them has been created specially for the fringe, to be performed in the Durham University vocal ensemble’s unique style.
It features an eclectic mix of chart-topping hits, arranged and choreographed by the 16-strong group for their return to the festival, where their shows sold-out last year.
The one-off preview takes place at the North Bailey theatre, on Friday August 11, at 7.30pm.
Tickets, costing £8 for adults and £6 for concessions, are available by emailing the Northern Lights, at acappella.society@durham.ac.uk.
