POLICE have seized cocaine with an estimated street value of £7,000 after a teatime raid on a house in County Durham last night.
Officers from Bishop Auckland police station discovered the haul of cocaine when they executed a warrant at around 6.40pm.
Drugs paraphernalia and a 'significant amount of cash' were also recovered from the property in Station Road, St Helen Auckland.
A 39-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.
The pair are today in police custody pending further investigation.
