SOME of the UK’s leading tribute acts will perform in front of thousands of people when they return for an annual music festival.
Chester-le-Street Fake Festival will be staged at Riverside Park on Saturday, August 5 starting at 12.30pm and will feature tribute acts performing music by Queen, The Killers and The Stone Roses, alongside five local support acts.
Festival-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy a full day and night of live music inside the huge Fake Festivals marquee.
Fake Festivals owner Jez Lee said: “It’s so great to be bringing the tour back across the UK again this year.
“We’ll be bringing a brilliant day and night to Chester-le-Street, with great music from some of the country’s best tribute acts.
“We’ll also have a bar in the huge marquee and entertainment outside with a variety of food stands and games for kids.”
He added: “The festival gives local bands the chance to play to bigger audience they would normally play to.”
