A MAN suffered a head injury following a serious assault outside a Middlesbrough pub at the weekend.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment for a head injury and he was later discharged.
Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident outside Flares on Albert Road at around 2.30am on Saturday, July 8.
A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and has been released under investigation.
