WORK is underway to create another 50 car parking spaces at a Northallerton business centre
It is hoped the spaces will satisfy increasing demand at Evolution by both the resident businesses and the visiting conference centre users.
“For the past three years the council has rented land from a neighbouring company to provide more spaces but with demand rising at the centre we have acquired a vacant unit next door to convert into more spaces,” said Hambleton's director of economy and planning, Helen Kemp.
“As the business centre has become busier and busier spaces are at a premium so we hope this investment will satisfy the need for both resident tenants and the many visitors we have using it for conferences and meetings.”
The centre is home to 19 businesses and is also an active conference centre.
