ONE of the area's best kept secrets is about to be revealed.
For the first time, the garden at Tudor Croft, in Guisborough, will be opened.
Mike Heagney has been fascinated by the garden for more than 50 years and has transformed it into one of the most stunning gardens in the region. Twice featured on Gardeners World, the garden is filled with plants and trees from around the world.
Mr Heagney, who runs a landscaping business for mainly stately homes, said: "This is a truly unique situation, I will be opening the garden for the very first time and I'm sure visitors will enjoy the experience."
The immaculate garden includes a ferns, a walled garden, herbaceous borders, restored rose gardens, fountains, pools and a stream.
The garden will open on Sunday, between 2pm and 5pm, is to raise funds for St John Ambulance. Admission is £3.50.
