TWO men were punched in the face and knocked to the ground in Middlesbrough.

Police are releasing an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the alleged incident.

"Officers would like to speak to the man as it is believed that he may be able to assist with their enquiries," said a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police.

"The incident happened at around 10.45pm on Sunday 30th April outside TS One and Sainsbury’s on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.

"Two men aged 39 and 47 were punched to the face and knocked to the floor. Both victims attended hospital, where they received treatment for minor facial injuries and bruised ribs."
