MORE than 30 jobs are being created with the opening of a new Aldi store in Thirsk this summer.
The supermarket chain is recruiting for all store positions, including management, on the shop floor and two apprentice opportunities.
The apprenticeships last three years.
Steve Barnett, Aldi regional managing director, said: “North Yorkshire continues to be an area of significant growth for us, and the new store in Thirsk has created jobs at all levels for people in the local community.
“We would encourage anyone interested in a career at Aldi to apply via our recruitment website.
“We are looking to attract applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds who can demonstrate relevant experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.”
