A PROSPECTIVE Labour MP has lost her council seat to the Tories.
Laura Pidcock, who has been selected as the party’s candidate to defend North-West Durham at the forthcoming General Election, lost her seat on Northumberland County Council to the Conservatives by 325 votes.
The 29-year-old has represented the Cramlington Eastfield Division for the last four years.
